Some classics and some modern (eventually) Chinese poetry for you to read and learn from. Poetry tends to be very hard to understand and there are many ways to interpret what is being written.
Taking Leave of Cambridge Again by 徐志摩 – Widely considered to be his most famous poem. Leaving Cambridge (UK) moved him to write this piece of beautiful poetry. There are some very nice sentences and useful words to be learnt along with some very challenging parts for advanced readers.
Two different poems by 陶渊明 – Two poems written during the times of the six dynasties in China. Very challenging pieces.
The Ballad of Mulan – The poem that first introduced 花木兰, you probably recognize her name from the Disney movie. A beautiful piece of writing with some very tricky lines of Chinese.
