In this conversation you will learn a little bit about David Beckham, he is a very famous man and his interviews have been translated into many languages including Chinese. Below is a conversation between him and a journalist that has been translated into Chinese. This interview was conducted soon after David launched his own brand of underwear and other fashion apparel.

If you like this type of reading then mention below and more will be added. I try to add varying types of Chinese so people can always find something that interests them when they are learning.

Key Words

It should be mentioned here that 大卫 is David. His full name in Chinese is 大卫 贝克汉姆 but he sometimes is called by his nickname 小贝 (kind of like people calling him ‘Becks’).

时尚 – Fashion.

记者 – Meaning journalist or reporter. 成为记者 ‘become a reporter’

访问 – Interview or visit. 记者访问了大卫 could mean ‘The reporter interviewed David’

Interview dialogue
